Reaching the top!!!
Exodus 19:3-6
New King James Version
3 And Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, “Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
4 ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.
5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”
And Moses went up to God
When I see Moses I know he’s someone who has a strong relationship with God. I will follow a man with a life who follows God.
To the best of my knowledge, I believe Moses climbed the mount of God 8 times.
The number 8 in the bible means new beginnings.
In the Spirit realm, the ground is entry level for every believer because the cross is equal ground for everyone.
If getting closer to God is climbing the mountain then I’m ready.
There is nothing better than Jesus. Jesus is the door to your relationship with God.
But I ask you today, will you climb higher than just the entry point. Many find Jesus but die at the entry point because they never went any further. The presence of God demands a response.
Exodus 19:3
And Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain.
When you begin to climb the mountain that is in front of you, you will hear God.
The higher you go, the smaller the obstacles below seem. Climb till you hear his voice plain. Climb till you see the heavenly throne room of God.
When you come into the throne room you will hear the Angels singing Holy Holy Holy.
There is a higher ground, I want to go higher than I have ever climbed. It easy to do nothing.
When you do nothing you can’t expect much. But set your eyes on the Holy Ground, the place the bush burns. The place where there is less you and more of him.
When the fire sets upon you, God will pour oil on the fire. The fire’s heat destroys the yoke of what’s below.
Isaiah 10:27
It shall come to pass in that dayThat his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck,
And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
The anointing will set you at a new level.
People will deny your new promotion, but when God does it you will be set to the front of the line.
When God does it, you will stand out like Esther.
When God does it, no Egyptian Prison can keep you from your God given destiny.
Joseph was thrown down into a cavern of the earth; it was the start of his ascent. When he was sold to Potiphar, his wife falsely accused him, and down he went again. To prison he went. Joseph might have gone down, but God was moving. The mountain was not a place Joseph would die, but a place where Joseph got past his past successes. Your successes will give you a medal, but they won’t take you higher.
When God is raising up a man or woman of God, He doesn’t give you a medal; rather, He pours the oil. The yoke the devil intended to destroy you with becomes the kindling to the fire of God.
Colossians 3:1-4
New Living Translation
Living the New Life
3 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 And when Christ, who is your[a] life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.
The pastor wants you to reach heaven. God said in the prayer meeting that He is raising up a nation of prophets, raising up David’s worshippers who honor His presence, and raising up prayer warriors who shake heaven with their prayers. Men like Moses, women like Sarah who said, “God, give me a son, else I die.” Intercessors who stand between the living and the dead.
God is calling you. I know you have come far, but will you climb a little further? I know you have come further than many others, but keep climbing. The sacrifices of the past mean you have to build a new fire. Don’t make a fire on the ashes of another’s fire; keep on going.
Let it be said about you, “I have reached the top. I’m an eagle going where others can only climb too.”the ashes of another’s fire, but keep on going
Let it be said about you I have reached the top. Im a eagle going where others can only climb too
