THE BREATH THAT BREAKS DEATH (RUACH)

Ezekiel 37:1–14

¹The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. ² Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. ³ And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”

⁴ Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! ⁵ Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. ⁶ I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ”

⁷ So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. ⁸ Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

⁹ Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ” ¹⁰ So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

¹¹ Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ ¹² Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. ¹³ Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. ¹⁴ I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

The Breath that Breaks Death.

The Hebrew word Ruach means breath, wind, spirit.
It is the breath that hovered over the waters in Genesis 1.
It is the breath that filled Adam’s lungs.
It is the breath that raised a valley of bones.
It is the breath Jesus released when He said,

“Receive the Holy Spirit.”

Where the Ruach of God enters, death loses its power.

THE VALLEY OF COMPLETELY DRY BONES

(Ezekiel 37:1–2) God takes Ezekiel to a valley that represents, no hope, no movement, no future, nothing left but dry, sun-bleached bones

Not dying, Not weak, Not broken…DEAD and VERY DRY. Why?

So Ezekiel would understand the miracle of breath, because death in its worst form reveals breath in its greatest form.

Dryness is not a barrier to God., Dryness is an invitation.

GOD’S QUESTION TO THE PROPHET (Ezekiel 37:3)

“Son of man, can these bones live?”

In the natural? No. In Kronos time? No. In Israel’s condition? No.

But in Ruach? Ezekiel answers correctly: “O Lord GOD, You know.”

He doesn’t look at the bones  he looks at the Breath-Giver.

1^st command , “PROPHESY TO THE BONES”

Ezekiel 37:4–8

God doesn’t tell Ezekiel to organize the bones, clean the bones, touch the bones, repair the bones, God says: “Prophesy.” Speak, Release My breath through your breath.

When Ezekiel speaks:, Bones come together, Structure forms, Bodies take shape, But still there is no life.
A perfectly assembled body is still a corpse without Ruach.

A church can have talent, instruments, programs, organization, leadership, but Without Ruach, it is still a valley.

2^ND  command “PROPHESY TO THE BREATH”  (THE KEY)

Ezekiel 37:9–10

Now God shifts the target  “Prophesy to the breath… and say, ‘Come from the four winds, O breath… and breathe on these slain, that they may live! This is not a breeze, Not a gust, Not emotion., Not hype.

This is: “THE BREATH THAT BREAKS DEATH”

When Ezekiel prophesies to Ruach: Breath enters, Life returns, Strength rises, An army stands, The bones did not live when structure came.
They lived when breath came.

 WHY THE ENEMY ATTACKS BREATH

Your lungs breathe 12–20 times a minute, If breath stops… life stops.

Spiritually, If prayer stops, If worship stops, If prophecy stops, If the Word stops flowing, If intercession stops, “The breath stops”.

This is why the enemy attacks breath

Asthma in the natural — constricted airways
Asthma in the spirit — constricted faith

Pneumonia in the natural  lungs filled with fluid
Pneumonia in the spirit lungs filled with fear, sorrow, heaviness

Every attack on breath has one goal: Stop Ruach.
Because if you silence breath, you neutralize prophets.

But God told Ezekiel: “Prophesy to the breath.” YOU WANT REVIAL, Call for it., Summon it, Invite it, Command it by My Word.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN BREATH BREAKS DEATH

(Ezekiel 37:10)

“When Ruach entered that valley” Bones lived, Bodies stood, Purpose awakened, Prophecy fulfilled, An army rose

Ruach is not gentle here, Ruach is aggressive.

This is breath that breaks death. Breath that shatters chains.
Breath that resurrects families. Breath that restores churches.
Breath that drives out fear. Breath that revives callings.
