The Beautiful Holy Spirit

 

The Holy Spirit existed from the very beginning of time.

The Holy spirit is our helper.

The Holy spirit leads us.

 

THE HOLY SPIRIT EXISTED FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME.

 

Genesis 1:2 (KJV)

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

 

  • The Spirit of God- was hovering over the face of the waters
  • Holy Spirit hovers over us today waiting upon a word of GOD for us. (or when we ask him in our life’s)

 

 Psalm 33:6 (KJV)

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

 

  • One word from God out of his mouth and the Heavens were made (The Holy Spirit worked upon God’s command)
  • HE also works upon GOD’s command for our life

 

When Jesus was Baptized

 

  • Jesus came out of the waters/Heaven was opened and the Spirit of God came. (the Spirit of God abode with Jesus- dwelt with him)
  • John saw and bare witnessed the Spirit descending from Heaven

 

The Holy Spirit = THE SPIRIT OF GOD!
  • It is time to change your relationship with God
  • Make the Holy Spirit Real to you
  • How dependent are we on the HOLY GHOST?
  • Do you have an understanding of his importance and who he really is?
  • The Holy Spirit is within every Christian
  • The Holy Spirit is a secret power in life!
  • The Holy Spirit leads, and we follow (Make sure you follow closely)

 

 

The Holy Spirit will open the Word of God to you! Allowing you to have an understanding.

 

Once we are saved = we have access to the Holy Spirit.

  • The Holy Spirit is a Christians inheritance that we receive from God

 

There is nothing in this world like the Holy Spirit.

  • Surrender unto him
  • You are not surrendering to man when you completely sell out to God and his Holy Spirit.

 

 

 

Isaiah 61:1 (KJV)

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

 

 

  • We are to preach the gospel (not just preachers and teachers but everyone with that has received the Holy Spirit).
  • But when we preach let every part of our being be controlled by the Holy Spirit.

 

 

 

How to welcome in the Holy Ghost

 

Peter said:

Acts 2:38 (KJV)

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

 

*We shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost once we repent of our sins.

 

 

 

*The Holy Ghost will Teach you:

John 14:26 (KJV)

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

 

 

 

*The Holy Ghost is our Helper:

John 15:26 (Amplified Bible)

“But when the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, He will testify and bear witness about Me.

 

*The Holy Spirit could have never come if Jesus did not ascend back to Heaven.
  • It was to our advantage when Jesus went away; so, our comforter could be with us always no matter where we are.

 

 

John 16:7 (Amplified Bible)

But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

 

 

John at the Isle of Patmos:

Revelation 1:10

I was in the [a]Spirit [in special communication with the Holy Spirit and empowered to receive and record the revelation from Jesus Christ] on the [b]Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet,

 

 

  • John had to have that communication with the Holy Spirit THEREFORE HE RECEIVED A REVELATION
  • WE HAVE TO BE IN THAT SAME SETTING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT TO RECEIVE A REVELATION IN OUR LIFE

  

We must know how delicate our relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT is to us!!!!!!!

 

There is No forgiveness for coming against the Holy Spirit

 

 

Matthew 12:31 tells us [a]blasphemy against the [Holy] Spirit will not be forgiven. 

 

Matthew 12: 32

Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

 

 

  • People crucified Jesus and He forgave them by these words “Father Forgive them for they know not what they do.”
  • You can be the worst sinner in the world and get forgiveness from Christ; but if you reject the clear evidence of the Holy Spirit; there is no forgiveness.

 

  

David knew the Holy Spirit (Psalms 51:11)
  • He pleaded and stated you can take everything I have but “PLEASE DON’T TAKE THE HOLY SPIRIT FROM ME”
  • He knew the Importance of the HOLY SPIRT

 

(Luke 11:13) Tells us if you Ask for the HOLY SPIRIT the Father will freely give him to you.

 

 

How can we live a defeated when the HOLY SPIRIT intercedes on our behalf?
  • The Holy Spirit Knows the NEED
  • The HOLY SPIRIT knows the Perfect will of GOD; so, allow him to intercede
  • Complete surrender to the Holy Spirit is the trustiest love and you are saying “God, I know you know what’s best for me”

 

*Allow the HOLY SPIRIT control of your mind and life so you can have peace; but we have to surrender and allow him in our chaotic world that we like to control ourselves.

 

When the enemy is at your doorstep…

Isaiah 59:19 talks about when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the SPIRIT OF THE LORD shall lift up a standard/banner against him.

  1. THE BANNER IS A VISIBLE SYMBOL OF VICOTRY AND PROTECTION FOR HIS PEOPLE.
  2. GOD WILL ACTIVLY INTERVENE AND DEFEND HIS PEOPLE AGAINST THEIR ENEMIES
  3. YOU NEVER STAND ALONE AND WE DON’T HAVE TO FIGHT BECAUSE THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FIGHTING FOR YOU.
  4. We are not coming by our own might or our own power but only by the Spirit of the LORD. (we have no strength without the SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLING IN US)
