Daniel 5:1-5 (NKJV)
Belshazzar’s Feast, the feast of the flesh
1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast for a thousand of his lords, and drank wine in the presence of the thousand. 2 While he tasted the wine, Belshazzar gave the command to bring the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple which had been in Jerusalem, that the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines might drink from them. 3 Then they brought the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple of the house of God which had been in Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them. 4 They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone.
5 In the same hour the fingers of a man’s hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

23 And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified. 24 Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him, and this writing was written.
That night Belshazzar died and went to Hell, Babylon fell.
Church, we are living in a prophetic hour the Bible is not a history book it is a headlines news.
Every time you turn on the news, prophecy is unfolding before our eyes.
I want to take you to Genesis 12:3, where God made a promise to Abraham:
“I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
This is not just ancient history. This is not just for Israel back then.
It is an everlasting covenant — a covenant that still governs how God deals with nations right now.
I want to show you that when a nation blesses Israel, blessing follows… but when a nation opposes, pressures, or divides the land God promised, judgment comes — sometimes swiftly, sometimes in ways that shake that nation to its core.
GOD’S COVENANT WITH ISRAEL IS STILL ACTIVE
- Genesis 17:7–8 – God says, “I will establish My covenant… for an everlasting covenant.”
- God never canceled His promises to Abraham’s descendants.
- Romans 11:29 – “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
The Point is: What He spoke to Abraham still stands. The treatment of Israel is the litmus test for blessing or judgment on individuals and nations.
Zechariah 2:8 – “He who touches you touches the apple of His eye.”
Let’s look at the kinds of judgments God sent on Egypt in Exodus chapters 7–10 are they happening again today against nations that mistreat Israel.
If we read Exodus 7–10 closely, those plagues were direct, supernatural acts of judgment targeted at a specific nation (Egypt) for a specific purpose:
- To compel Pharaoh to let God’s people go.
- To demonstrate God’s power over Egypt’s gods (each plague corresponded to an Egyptian deity).
- To make God’s name known among all nations (Ex. 9:16).
In the present age, the Bible doesn’t give us an exact repeat of the same sequence of plagues against modern nations, but it does give two important principles that connect:
God Still Judges Nations Based on How They Treat Israel
- Genesis 12:3 – “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.”
- Zechariah 2:8 – “He who touches you touches the apple of His eye.”
- Joel 3:2 – God says He will judge the nations for “dividing up My land” and scattering His people.
These verses suggest a pattern: nations that oppose, oppress, or betray Israel place themselves in a dangerous position before God.
2. The End Times Will See Plague-Like Judgments
In Revelation, the judgments poured out in the tribulation have some similarities to the Exodus plagues:

The handwriting on the wall Some scholars see these as God once again confronting the “Pharaohs” of the last days—world leaders who defy God and persecute His people.
Historical Observations
Many Bible teachers point out that historically, empires that rose against Israel eventually fell (Babylon, Rome, Nazi Germany). Some interpret certain disasters in modern nations as God’s warning or judgment, though Scripture warns us to be careful not to make a blanket cause-and-effect claim without prophetic confirmation.
So the answer is:
We do not see the exact Exodus 7–10 plagues playing out in the church age one-for-one, but the pattern of God bringing judgment on nations that harm Israel is biblical and continues. The clearest full replay will be in the Tribulation, where plague-like judgments reappear on a global scale, targeting nations and powers that come against God’s people.
The handwriting on the wall
Bible prophecy teachers: teach that when a nation, a king, or president (I want you to understand something the United States is a nation of 50 states or could have been 50 nations) that defy God will see disaster for their role against God’s Covenant people. I prophesy that with high antisemitism disasters will come, it’s coming.
I prophesy there are 5 major areas where we will see the judgments of God happen, because the Nation of Israel is being attacked. President Trump, if you are smart you will get rid of the United Nations on American soil. The golden dome will not shield us from the Wrath of God. Dividing the land of Israel will cause:

- Widespread Fires or Drought
