I’m not leaving you in Egypt

Exodus 5:1-2 (NKJV)

First Encounter with Pharaoh

1 Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let My people go, that they may [a]hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.’ ”

And Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go.”

Pharoah thought he was a god. He may have been to those who worshiped him, but he was just a mere man. Moses’s encounter with Pharaoh was not a good one. Moses may seem to him as one coming to reclaim the seat that he thought he wanted. Moses wasn’t a hero. The Moses that Pharaoh knew died in the wilderness, where Moses found Mercy and Grace. Moses was to the Jews what Paul was to the Gentiles.

Moses’s encounter with Pharaoh was one of Moses meeting God, he didn’t understand the Prophet Moses. He carried the Image of God. God spoke to Moses face to face, not in dreams and visions like he did other Prophets.

You see Pharaoh had prophets, but they had no anointing, Moses possessed an ability given by God. Moses’s told Pharaoh one thing, and it was simple: “Let My people go”. The problem wasn’t with God. They were coming out of Egypt and the problem wasn’t with Moses, he was the obedient servant. The Problem was Pharaoh. He thought he was God. Israel had forsaken God, forsaken Mercy and Grace, but God is a Covenant keeping God, and God never breaks promises. God has made you some Promises, not for one second think my father has forsaken or forgotten you. He knows where you’re at and what you have went through and there is a word that has been put in my heart: “God said its time for you to come out of your Egypt”.

I know the devil has devised a cell in hell for each one of us, but this morning I’m a man on a mission, I’m here to see you liberated.

It’s not that Moses met Pharaoh! No, not at all.

It’s Pharoah. It’s time you met Moses. God was in Moses and Israel was coming out of Egypt.

I hear the happy sounds of people packing their belongings. I hear the sounds of people who have never walked past the gates of their captors!

How long have you been in Egypt? How many years have you been Pharaoh’s slave?

It’s not just you but also your sons that bear the mark of Pharaoh’s whip. They buried your son with no marker. Only you know where they are buried, you’re the momma or the daddy.

The 400 years that they had been in Pharaoh’s Egypt had come and gone, graves too many to count, torture was a way of life, starvation was normal.

Hear this preacher when God extends the hand of Grace. Accept it with great gratitude, receive Mercy and Grace. When Moses came to Egypt it was over, the Children of Israel were coming out.

God spoke to my heart in Prayer he said today is your day, this is the Last day for you to spend in Egypt.

Magic employs deception. The Prophets of Pharoah had no power, only deception. Moses was a Prophet with Power, the Power was in his tongue, not in his biceps, not in his natural ability, not in his orator abilities. The power of God was in his mouth.

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Pharaoh could hear God, so God had to humble this man.

  1. The Plague of Blood – Exodus 7:14-24
  2. The Plague of Frogs – Exodus 8:1-15
  3. The Plague of Gnats – Exodus 8:16-19
  4. The Plague of Flies – Exodus 8:20-32
  5. The Plague on Livestock – Exodus 9:1-7
  6. The Plague of Boils – Exodus 9:8-12
  7. The Plague of Hail – Exodus 9:13-35
  8. The Plague of Locusts – Exodus 10:1-20
  9. The Plague of Darkness – Exodus 10:21-29
  10. The Plague on the Firstborn – Exodus 11 ; Exodus 12:1-30

After the death of the first born, he released the children of Israel, the death angel came through Egypt by the word of Moses. Every time Moses opened his mouth judgment came out towards Egypt and Pharaoh.

After 1.5 to 2 million Jews started out from Egypt, imagine what it was like leaving the security of Egypt. Isn’t that ironic being a slave was all they knew to be. What if your résumé was “I was a slave in Egypt all my life”.

How long have you been a slave to the devil? Jesus said it’s time for you to be saved, if you miss this chance, it may never come again.

There may never be a next time, humble yourself.

God said “I’m not leaving you in Egypt”

2 Corinthians 6:2 (Berean Standard Bible)

For He says:

“In the time of favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.”

Behold, now is the time of favor; now is the day of salvation!

You have no idea the tears that’ve been prayed over your soul; the spiritual warfare over your soul has been mighty.

You should have been dead, but My God spared you, I feel like Jonah I ran to Nineveh to tell you of the Grace of God, Mercy is at your fingertips.

Repent of your sins, turn your life over to Jesus and be saved.  I see the Angel sent by God to take Life. Pharaoh had refused Mercy and Grace. Moses was God’s hand extended, but Pharoah rejected it. The angel, I believe, took a life for every life Egypt had taken.

Today you’re coming out in Jesus’ name.

God said “I’m not leaving you in Egypt”
