Jesus the True Shepherd
1 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
If you had asked me how I came to the place I am in Christ today, I would have to tell you, “I came the way of the door”. When Jesus saved my soul, saved my life, as one of the sheep of Jesus like you, we both have the same problem, sheep have many enemies, predators who will do nothing but kill us. Sheep don’t fight, we are not born fighters. What am I to do? My greatest weapon may seem dismal to the “unknowing”
But it’s our “follow”, we follow the voice of Jesus. If Jesus calls, we go. We will not follow strange voices. We know his voice, he’s the one who saved us. He fights to ensure my safety! From the youngest to the oldest Jesus protects.
“I came the way of the door” Jesus is the door, we are followers!
7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came [a]before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Without Jesus you will not survive this world, there is only one safe place for the sheep, and that is in the presence of Jesus. Not being in the sheep fold has not entered my mind. I know it’s the only place I’m safe.
Now hear me, Jesus is the door, and the only way in is “Jesus”.
When you’re in “Jesus” not even hell can get to your soul, why because Jesus is the door. The door is strong and secure. I had a dream and I was looking at the door to heaven, it was massive, I could not see the top, for like ever I studied the door its beauty, it was ornate, it was very exquisite, this dream taught me something. It’s one thing to be looking at the door, and totally another to be protected by it. I knew there was no way in, the height of the gate and wall were unreal.
2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Notice it doesn’t say lead them in, but rather it says leads them out.
Every translation I have read says the same thing, he led them out. If your direction isn’t “coming out” then you’re not being led by Jesus.
The Narrow Way
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 [c]Because narrow is the gate and [d]difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Why does the devil offer so much for the soul who will follow him? Because it’s all you can get in this lifetime. The pleasure of life.
It almost puts God in a bad light, because people have such great needs, the devil offers drugs, alcohol, prostitution, perversion, satan makes slaves of all his followers, slaves to the flesh. Money, fame, so you’re a star, when the devil is through with you, you will lose your beauty, mister your life will be a living hell when the devil gets through putting his chains on you.
Can I shine some light? In this dark corner, there is no one like my Jesus, no body like our redeemer, no one like our Holy One, Holy are you lord.
There is no one like the Lord. You are Holy, Jesus seen my condition Jesus came to the prison I was in and led me out. Will you allow Jesus to lead you out? You’re living in hell, no need to go to such a place as hell.
Did you know Jesus leads people out of hell? Those who are on the broad road going to hell can stop, why because the traffic goes one way. Jesus is the only one who can get you off that road.
Every soul that’s been saved will say, “I came the way of the door”
When Jesus died for your forgiveness, our sins called for our death, but Jesus died for our sins, then he carried them away to never be remembered again to be remembered against us ever again.
There is nobody like our savior
There is nobody like our redeemer
There is nobody like our healer
There is nobody like our holy one
There is nobody like our anointed one
There is nobody like Him
There is one seated on the throne, the living one, alive forevermore, Holy are you Lord, before the lamb, angels all around, casting crowns lifting up a sound.
Worthy is the lamb who was slain and seated on the throne, there is no one like the Lord. Elders and creatures bow, giving praise to him and him alone, there’s no one like the Lord!
You are holy, Lord God almighty, You are Holy, You are Holy.
There is one, Father’s only son,
He who was, is and is to come,
God will lift you up.
See his face shining like the sun,
giving praise offer in your love,
God, we lift you up.
So, we say
Worthy is the lamb who was slain and seated on the throne, there is no one like the Lord, Elders creatures bow, giving praise to him and him alone, there’s no one like the Lord.
Worthy is the lamb who was slain and seated on the throne, there is no one like the Lord, Elders creatures bow, giving praise to him and him alone, there’s no one like the Lord.
Blessings and honor glory and power, honor and majesty wisdom and might, to the lamb. To the lamb!
Worthy is the lamb who was slain and seated on the throne, there no one like the Lord, Elders creatures bow, giving praise too him and him alone, there’s no one like the Lord.
