When Faith and Spirit meet!!!
Luke 8:43-48 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any,
44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.
45 And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?”
When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.”
47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
48 And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
If you were looking for a model church, where the power of God was flowing, it wasn’t in this town where Jesus was.
The problem with most churches is that they are like the people who attend them. They never give anything, just take.
When you find a church that is a giver, you will find faith in operation, and where faith is in action, it places an expectation on the power of God.
I have never wanted anything but a church that has a river flowing through it.
I had a dream a while back and a river was running through this church.
To me, it’s amazing when the river of the Holy Ghost is flowing in a church.
Miracles happen! Miracles can’t happen where no expectation is placed.
Did you hear me?
Miracles can’t happen where no expectation is placed!!!!
Spirit without faith is like a river with no water. I have come tonight where my faith and the Spirit of God like a river, flowing in this house.
This house is a Holy Ghost house. It would look weird to claim to have a river but have no water.
When faith and spirit come together, Miracles happen!!!
Mathew 17:20 B I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
When a church gets into a Holy Ghost River, anything is possible.
I was told the other day by a close friend that if they ever came to church and someone screamed, they would run out of that church.
I’m telling this church, this church needs its screamers, shouters, and tongue talkers.
We need the loud, those who cry for joy. This church is made up of all different kinds.
I love it when I see the kids watching Bash, watching the music. They are the waders.
When faith and spirit meet, anything is possible.
I love it when you see a new convert jump into the river. They may be knee-deep but they get water everywhere.
New converts pray at the altars because they are in love with Jesus, and water is everywhere.
Then there are the hungry and the thirsty. We call these the seekers. They just jump in hip deep, right in the middle of a move of God. They are like David, showing up with a block of cheese and crackers for their Brothers, and end up killing a giant.
They are like Elijah, in that they pray and the rain falls. You don’t know the strength of these kinds of people folk. They bring the rain.
It seems the river follows them, and they are always wet.
The next is what I want to call “anointing junkies”. People who have jumped into the river and were swept away. God began to use them in the supernatural.
Faith and Spirit met in the supernatural and it’s a Miracle.
You see a person who lives in the river lives in the supernatural. They thirst for the Glory of God in the river.
Those who have jumped in the river, hunger for more of Him. When you jump in the river, you become at one with the river, and it is hard to tell if you are in the river or if the river is in you.
I know Jonah had his faults, but Jonah brought God to Nineveh
Moses was God’s mouthpiece, and then Moses brought Egypt to its knees and delivered God’s People.
A Church that lives in the river, will see the miraculous
It a place you can find Jesus
It’s a place faith and spirit meet.
