Title: “Now Fight”
Sermon Notes:
**John 11:4 King James Version**
“When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.”
In John chapter 11, we witness Lazarus’ death and Jesus’ deliberate timing to bring glory to God through a miraculous experience.
God is always at work; in verse 4, Jesus declares that Lazarus’ situation is not death but an opportunity for God’s glory.
Jesus stays, recognizing Lazarus’ special heavenly experience, and only goes when the time is right.
**Isaiah 6:1 King James Version**
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
**Ezekiel 1:26-28 The Message**
Ezekiel’s vision describes a throne with a humanlike figure, portraying the Glory of God.
**Revelation 4:2-3,5-6a Amplified Bible**
John’s vision mirrors a heavenly experience, emphasizing the radiant presence of God.
A man’s testimony aligns with John’s experience, describing a light portal, conversations in spirit, and a never-ending rainbow.
**Ephesians 6:12 King James Version**
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
In times of spiritual warfare, Ephesians 6:12 reminds us of the true battle we face.
**John 14:3 King James Version**
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
To witness God’s promises, we must persevere. “Now Fight” against spiritual challenges.
In life, we encounter situations where fighting is necessary. Jesus encourages Lazarus and the man from the testimony with the words “Now Fight.”
Whether facing illness, despair, or spiritual battles, we are called to fight. The rainbow on this side of the promise is a glimpse, but there’s more on the other side. Fight for your family, fight for your soul, and endure the battles with the assurance that victory awaits.
**Conclusion:** Church, to witness God’s promises, we must not give up; we have to “Now Fight!”
