The Rauch of God, “The Spirit of God”

Ruach (pronounced roo-akh) is the Hebrew word for spirit, breath, or wind.

When spoken, the word engages one’s breath and lungs.

The first mention of Ruach in the Bible is found in Genesis.

Genesis 1:2

And the earth was a formless and desolate emptiness, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit (Ruach) of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

What was the Spirit of God doing? It was hovering, brooding, waiting on the word of God.

Every word Jesus spoke was life.

John 1:14–14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father),  full of grace and truth.

John 1:15 John bare witness of him and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spoke; He that cometh after me is preferred before me, for he was before me.

Conceived by the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit came upon Mary, and the Holy Spirit was upon Jesus; every word he spoke had life and light in it. There was never a man like Jesus, and neither is there anyone like Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the son of God.

Through Jesus and others, the Rauch of God is the spirit, breath, or wind. It becomes a life force for us.

Romans 8:11–12

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Somebody says, “Our God is an Awesome God.”

This past Sunday evening I ran when the Spirit came upon me.

These old bones felt the power to be an Olympian for Jesus. Then,  as I made it back to the front, I saw a runway in the spirit, and I was a flagger.

Sister Magin, my daughter, had the anointing all over her.

I knew it was for her. God was launching a F-35 Lightning fighter plane.

Not just once, but many times, God wants to launch her.

Monday, through prayer, I saw another launching, Bro Art and Sister  Patrica. I took Brother Art by the hand, and he, being the gentleman he is, took Sis Patrica by the hand, and we launched from the place they sat.

God is going to launch us today. You’re a great F-35 Lightning ll fighter jet sitting on the deck of a destroyer, waiting on her pilot to launch her to battle. Will you mount upon an eagle’s wings with me today? Did you know this plane flies 1200 miles per hour?

2 Corinthians 10:4

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God. God is going to launch you today.

Will you be that F-35 Lightning, and let God the Holy Spirit be your pilot?

“The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells within you.”

The smoke of God is in you. The spirit, breath, or wind.

Parker, one of the sons of this church, said on a Wednesday night, “I want to speak in tongues.”

The inspiration to speak in tongues is a life-giving force. When you pray in the Holy Ghost, miracles happen.

The Holy Spirit is upon us, in us, waiting on us to open our mouths and let him out.

When you let this life out, he brings dead things to life.

When that life force is released, he brings life where you should die; when the Holy Spirit is released, “he brings you back to life.”

“I want to know You; let Your Spirit overwhelm me; let Your presence overtake my heart.”

Why do you think the devil fights our prayer lives?

Every time we release the Spirit, miracles happen, and the supernatural power of God moves?

Luke 3:21-22

When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus was also baptized, and while He prayed, heaven was opened.

22 And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven that said,

“You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

Release the dove, release the gentlest Spirit of God, release the Spirit of God;

The supernatural power is on the wings of that dove.

The devil wants you dead to the Spirit; the Holy Spirit is a life force; release him, and the supernatural is what you get.

When you are born again, the Holy Spirit comes into you and says,

“You are filled with this life force”

“the old you dies,”

“a new life force comes into you.”

The baptism of the Holy Spirit involves speaking in tongues.

By faith, release the Holy Spirit; release the life force of God.

When you pray in the Holy Spirit, you release the Spirit to do the supernatural.

Can I pray for you today? Right now, obey God.

Move out of your seat.
