To be blameless before the Lord is my life’s goal.
When a person sins, they sin in one of three ways: they sin against God, they sin against others, or they sin against themselves.
All sin is sin; I do believe there are degrees of sin. We have all sinned, and sad to say, a lot continue to sin. How can we sin against God and still claim to be saved?
I will never know. Many people will go to a devil’s hell because they thought they were saved.
Genesis 6:9 KJV
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
In a time when others were so defiled, Noah walked with God. You have to make a conscious decision on how close to God you are going to walk.
When Noah was born, history taught us
1 Enoch 106:2-3
2 Noah’s body was white like snow and red like the flower of a rose, and the hair on his head was white like wool. and his eyes were beautiful, and when he opened his eyes, he made the whole house bright like the sun, so that the whole house was exceptionally bright.
106:3 And when he was taken from the hand of the midwife, he opened his mouth and spoke to the Lord of Righteousness. And that he was in the likeness of the angels of heaven.
What strikes me about Noah and Enoch is that both men, as the word says, walked with God.
One was taken to heaven, and one was left to endure the wrath of God when God poured judgment on the earth.
Noah is a type of Christ.
Noah’s great faith in the Lord is one of the most recognizable stories in Scripture. In Genesis.
The Lord saw how corrupt the earth had become and vowed to destroy it and start afresh.
He instructed Noah to build an ark in preparation and load his family and two of every creature on Earth into the boat to preserve life on Earth.
“The Hebrew word for faith is Emunah, which means “support.” This is perfect because faith is like “the Lord’s support” to us because he is working in every situation for his glory.
Men today who walk with God for 50–75 years come to such a great knowledge of God and experience his great grace. Imagine these men. Enoch walked with God for 365 years and never died.
Then God took him to heaven, and he will come again and be killed in the streets of Jerusalem.
Noah walked with God before the flood, and after the flood, 950 years ago, 4300 years ago, one of the earth’s greatest men of faith walked with God.
Proverbs 16:31
Long life is the reward of the righteous, and gray hair is a glorious crown.
Before there was anything, water covered the entire earth. God spoke and created the firmament. In Noah’s day, it rained, and the earth was covered again with water. Only Noah, the man who walked with God, and those in the ark lived.
Psalms 104:5-9
5 You who laid the foundations of the earth,
So that it should not be moved forever,
You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
The waters stood above the mountains.
7 At Your rebuke, they fled;
At the voice of Your thunder, they hastened away.
8 [c] They went up over the mountains;
They went down into the valleys.
To the place that You founded for them.
You have set a boundary that they may not cross.
That they may not return to cover the earth.
It was God who made the place so man could walk with God.
Genesis 7:17-24
17 Now the flood was on earth for forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, which rose high above the earth.
18 The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered. The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered.
21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds, cattle, beasts, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died.
23 So He destroyed all living things that were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping things, and birds of the air. They were destroyed by the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.
24 And the waters prevailed on the earth for one hundred and fifty days.
If it hadn’t been for God, all of creation would have died. If it hadn’t been for this great man, Noah, all flesh would have died. Noah walked with God.
Walking with God will preserve your life; walking with God will produce a hedge the devil can’t get through; we are privileged to have those who walk with God; The reason your life could be in the favor of another
You can’t be a Godly man or woman and be a gossiper.
James 1:26: – If any man among you seems to be religious and bridleth not his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
Why do we harm the souls of others? Why do we pleasure ourselves in such a way?
“He who does harm to a human soul creates harm for his own soul, and there is for him no healing of his flesh nor any forgiveness for eternity.
It’s not right to kill a human being, neither by weapon nor by tongue.
He who carries out the murder of a human soul causes the death of his own soul and murders his own body; he is killing God’s soul; God created all souls; “the Lord is the Lord of every spirit, and the man or woman who kills, there is no healing for him for eternity.
He who lies in wait for a person with any kind of trap, he himself will be entangled in it, and there is no healing for him for eternity.
He who lies in wait for a person in judgment, his retribution will not be slackened in the great judgment for eternity.
Whoever acts perversely or says anything against any soul, righteousness will not be created for him for eternity.
Walking with God will cause the old man you used to be to pass away. The old desires will be changed; show me your friends, and I’ll tell you the direction you’re going.
Jesus will draw beauty out of you; Jesus will cause the rose in you to come out. Walking with Jesus will draw the prophet out of you.
Jeremiah walked with God. He was called to be a prophet from his mother’s womb, yet to be the prophet, he was to be required to walk with God.
John the Baptist walked with God; no calling is enough to produce the working of miracles; no calling will make you a tongue-twister; you cannot be a prophet without walking with God.
Jesus in John 10 was in the temple and spoke to the Jews.
The Jews are monotheistic; they believe in one God. We as Christians are monotheistic; we believe in one God, manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. When Jesus spoke to the Jews and they asked him,
Are you the Christ? to prove to them who he was, he said, Look at the works I do: Jesus raised the dead to life; Jesus healed the sick; Jesus cast out the demons; Jesus walked with God. Jesus has been with the Father from the beginning; this is why he is able to do what he has done.
I say to you that Jesus has lost no power, but rather it has grown; the cross didn’t weaken him, but rather his own words.
Matthew 28:18 kjv
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth.”
Without Jesus, the best you can be cannot save you; the only way you can be saved is to walk with Jesus. Jesus left us and went to heaven, and he is right now with his father. He came from heaven, and he went back to heaven.
Jesus told his disciples to go to Jerusalem and wait on the promise of the Holy Spirit. Notice God didn’t pour it out in the temple; I don’t care how long you look, he didn’t, nor did he pour it out on Main Street or Wall Street, but he poured it out on those who were in the upper room seeking him.
Listen to me: how many times have you been here and seen with your own eyes the presence of God manifested in this house?
Will you not believe? Many have come and seen and left this house without Jesus, but you have seen and experienced his presence. He will change you; he will save you. Will you walk with God? Will you allow the changes to come?
The devil will never fight you on the grounds of who you are, but rather what you’re going to become.
John 1:10 NLT He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. 12 But to all who believed in him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13 They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but with a birth that comes from God.
