Mathew 5: 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
As Pastor of this church, I have lived through a bunch of stuff, I have seen the winds try to knock this house off the Hill, I have seen the City on the Hill warred against, the church has waged a mighty war, we haven’t gotten to where we are by doing nothing.
I see some who have forsaken the work, they don’t care what the church looked like, we are a light set on a hill, a light to the world that Jesus lives, and she sets on the Hill to shine for Jesus.
We know it’s not the building, it’s us the body of Christ, it’s not an organization, Jesus isn’t comingor a sign. He’s coming back to get his f Church — a City set on a Hill!
Hell has come against us to remove this City set on a hill; the opposition of the church is so real.
I had a dream. This dream was such a repressive dream, I was in the House sitting on the Hill. This House had its glory days, and I’m one to restore the Glory. Yes, I’m fought, the city on the Hill can’t be the light without the Glory.
Glory is worth everything to the Church. We try to be the City on the Hill, but without the Glory we are nothing.
We are a hospital to the hurting because of the Glory of God, the City on the Hill is supposed to be accessible. It’s not so high that others can’t reach it.
Our personal convictions can make the church so out of reach, those who have sought sanctuary with us should feel they belong in the City on the Hill.
One of the characteristics of a City on the Hill is the Glory, it attracts, she is beautiful, she is Glorious, she is magnificent. The great Architect the great designer has so set his church on this Hill to be a light to the whole world.
We are bringing back the Glory, The City on the Hill is going to shine again. I believe this, it’s my whole heart. To be a church that burns for Jesus, a city set on a hill that cannot be hid.
Enough of the foxhole church, enough of the church with no fire!
Psalm 100:3 (NKJV) Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Church, you don’t belong to me you belong to the Lord. You belong to Jesus. City set on a hill that cannot be hid, you belong to Jesus. I’m not setting the standard so high in this church that the sheep cannot gain access to his Church. Some have tried to set the standard so high no sheep could survive there. Some have set it so low the wolves eat freely all the time.
My heart cries for the sheep, I know this city is where I belong. This City means everything to God. and he wants his glory to fill this city. What’s sad is many don’t even miss the Glory, the City on the Hill should have Glory pouring from her seams.
2nd Chronicles 7:1 When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. 2And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house. 3When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying:
“For He is good,
For His mercy endures forever.”
I understand the devil hates Glory, when the Glory is present in the church. The body of Christ is a light. This Glory draws the People to the city on the Hill, a city that cannot be hid.
John 6:63 (NKJV) It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
The words we speak can activate Angels, and others can activate demons.
I believe hell has placed demons waiting to be activated by the words we speak. But the Spirit of God is giving us Prophetic words that’s activating Angels to minister on our behalf.
2nd Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.
I believe we are overdue for a flood of the Spirit!
Proverbs 6:2 You are snared by the words of your mouth;
You are taken by the words of your mouth.
Proverbs 12:
13 The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips,
But the righteous will come through trouble.
14A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth,
And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him.
I ask you why do you not live in victory? Look at what your profession is, look at what’s coming out of your mouth.
Jesus said it’s not what goes in the mouth that defiles but rather what comes out. Think about what I’m saying.
What you believe will come out your mouth, vomit of the mouth happens because of a heart problem.
It’s better to be silent than aid Satan in hurting the city on the hill.
Words are conceived in the heart and birthed through the mouth.
I thank God for the school of Prophets its helped me so much, this city on the Hill is going shine, yes the Baalem have rose up, those who would curse us. we want to call Baalem a false prophet, but the truth is he was a prophet, but he was a wicked prophet, his death was because it’s what he Prophesied. If you Prophesy death, it’s the fruit of your mouth.
Proverbs 18:21 Life and death is in the power of the tongue
Words are actually commands.
You are commanding spirit beings and spirit powers by the words you speak.
You are literally commanding physical and natural forces by the words that you speak.
Words open things up and words shut things down.
Words bind and words loose.
Words are important.
This is why idle talk is dangerous.
Matthew 12:36
But I say unto you that every idle (argos: inactive, unemployed, lazy, useless, barren) word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
This is because words are life-changing forces. Words are eternal. Words you say with your mouth never die.
They are eternal. They are forces that stay in motion forever.
This is why we will all give an account of every inactive, unemployed, lazy, useless, and barren word that we speak on the Day of Judgment.
Vomit is uncontrollable, it comes through the mouth, the nose, watch out for the splatter it will get on you. Get away from toxic people, only God can help them. Don’t hang out with them.
Get with a shepherd/Prophet he will prophesy, command the blessing to come. He will call life to come back into a body.
