Advice From Mom
Advice from Mom
You know God made moms to be the way they are. They are superheroes; they take care of their husbands, they manage the cooking department, cleaning department, the washing department, the drying department, the shuttle service. She runs the sewing department, the ironing department, and while she has all this to do, she still makes time for God, prayer, and her Bible. Sounds to me like she needs a raise, and I wonder, today, can we honor all of our mothers with a hand clap of appreciation?
If you’re privileged to have your mother still alive, you should talk to her today. There will be a day when you won’t be able to, and then you will only have the memory of her voice. And I pray you never lose that. I remember my mom’s voice; do you? Bro Steve, I remember your mother’s voice. Sweetheart, I remember your mother’s voice.
There are some here who had to adopt a mother, and there is nothing wrong with that because moms have enough love to go around. So today, I honor the woman who is called mom today.
