A Change is Coming!
Romans 5:20-21
20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We have seen the growth of sinful behavior. Yes, it’s disgusting, but I have been in the prayer closet and there is a word of the Lord to this generation. God said a change is coming.
There is about to be such a move of God, those whom you thought could not be saved are gonna be saved. Kids that have left church, kids that have hated God, hated the church, are coming back. Those hurt in the church are coming back. They are not just coming back, but they are going to be changed!
The money god can’t do it
The lust god can’t do it
The religion god can’t change them
But the God I serve is going to change their hearts
Luke 15:11-24
The Parable of the Lost Son
11 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with [d]prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the [e]pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’
20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, [f]‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.
What can bring home the Prodigals? Is it going to be the music? No, no way, I think we need good music, not just good music but music worthy of a king.
Beautiful churches? No, no way, a beautiful church honors our heavenly father but that’s not what is going to bring them home, the church can’t change you. You walk in smoking pot. If Jesus doesn’t get hold of you, you will walk out and smoke some more.
The Prodigal had something a lot of people don’t have. I believe with all my heart, the Prodigal son had a father, a mother, a sister, maybe a wife and kids praying and fasting for their son to come home. One day the Prodigal, this reckless, wasteful son, came to a miraculous life-altering experience. Conviction touched his heart. God changed this man’s mind!!!
Luke15:17 says “But when he came to himself…”
There is going to be amazing move of God, a change is coming. God is raising up men, women, seniors who know how to pray until a change comes. You seniors should start prayer meetings. It’s not time to die but time to live!!!!!
The churches who have lived without the Holy Spirit are going to blow away. A new kind of church is evolving, Holy Ghost driven. They do more than speak in tongues, they operate in all the gifts of the Spirit, A Church so radically changed the Apostle Paul would be proud.
A new Church now operates in the 5-fold Ministry: Apostles, Evangelists, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers. This is the new frontier, the new west, the true north church.
They told us the Baptism of the Holy Ghost was of the devil, yet God is baptizing them with the fire. The bush as in Moses’ day has emerged again. God wants to burn in you like he did that bush.
Systematic theology lied to you. They tried to make you religious, but God keeps sending the fire. Why? God’s church is going to do its mission!!!
The fires of Missionaries are rising, those who carry the life of God in their hearts.
Somebody say, “A change is coming!!!”
A Change is coming!!!
Saul, before he got a name change to the Apostle Paul, received a change.
While some wanted to kill Saul others began to pray, and the Holy Ghost did his work.
Acts 9:1-6 (NKJV)
The Damascus Road: Saul Converted
9 Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. 4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”
Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. [a]It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”
Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
Religion has told women that you’re not smart enough to understand God’s Word. You can’t be a Bishop, you can’t be an Apostle, or a Prophet, or an Evangelist.
There are women who have been Marked by God. You bear the image of God, the former rain. Pentecost was Amazing, but the Lord is pouring out the latter rain even now. The former and the latter are coming together. The former rain started it, and the latter rain will finish it.
