The True Great Reset – Oil in Your Lamp

Matthew 25:1–13 (NKJV)

¹ Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. ² Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. ³ Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, ⁴ but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. ⁵ But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

⁶ “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ ⁷ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. ⁸ And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ ⁹ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ ¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

¹¹ “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ ¹² But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

¹³ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

How long until we become a cashless society and the dollar is replaced, and the mark of the beast is implemented?

The Timeline Question

The Bible gives us signs but not dates. Jesus said in Matthew 24:36: “Of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”

We can discern seasons by watching the convergence of prophecy, but Scripture warns us not to pin exact timeframes.

Cashless Society & Digital Currency

Many nations are already moving toward Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and away from physical cash.

Revelation 13:16–17 speaks of a system where no one can buy or sell without the “mark.” A cashless economy is one way this prophecy could be technologically fulfilled.

The infrastructure (digital banking, biometric ID, global surveillance) is rapidly advancing.

The Mark of the Beast

Revelation 13:16–18 says the mark will be on the right hand or forehead and tied to economic control.

Revelation 13:16–18

¹⁶ He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has ^[the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

The mark is not just technology—it is worship and allegiance to the Beast system.

The true danger is not losing cash but losing loyalty to Christ.

What We Can Say with Certainty:

The world is moving quickly toward a globalized, digitized economy.

We are seeing the foreshadowing of Revelation 13.

But the actual mark of the beast system will be implemented only in the time of the Antichrist, during the Tribulation

Revelation 13:5  And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

³ Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits ^[c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

That means we are not yet in the full mark system, but the stage is being set.

How the Church Should Respond:

• Be Spiritually Awake – don’t get lulled into apathy

Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

• Stay Anchored in Scripture – discern between technology and idolatry.

• Build Kingdom Economy – generosity, trust in God’s provision, not the world’s systems

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus

• Preach Urgency – the hour is late; people must know Jesus is coming soon.

• Fear Not – Revelation 7 shows God sealing His people in the tribulation period; the faithful will be preserved.

But make no mistake, the Lord is sealing his Bride with His HolySpirit, the Rapture is near, I feel it in my soul. He’s drawing me towards heaven

The world is talking about a “Great Reset”—economies, governments, and systems being restructured.

But Jesus already gave us the greatest reset: His return, His Kingdom, and His separation of the wise and the foolish.

“The true reset is not political—it is prophetic. It is not about man’s systems—it is about Heaven’s order.”

Ten Virgins: The Picture of the Church

All ten looked alike—they all had lamps, they all were waiting for the Bridegroom.

Outwardly, they seemed the same, but inwardly they were very different.

Five were wise: they had oil. Five were foolish: they had lamps with no lasting supply.

Prophetic Blueprint: In this last day reset, God is exposing the difference between appearance and anointing.

The Oil: The True Currency of the Kingdom

Oil = intimacy with the Holy Spirit. It is not transferable.

You cannot buy it with money, position, or influence. You must cultivate it daily.

Zechariah 4:6 – “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord.” The World’s reset runs on money & power. God’s reset runs on oil & intimacy.

Midnight Cry: The Turning Point

At midnight, the cry went forth: “Behold, the Bridegroom is coming!”

Midnight = the darkest hour, when hope seems faint, when confusion reigns.

But God’s announcement cuts through the darkness.

Prophetic Word: We are close to the midnight cry—the urgency of the Spirit is calling the Church to wake up and trim her lamp, wake up and trim her lamp, wake up and trim her lamp!

The Shut Door: The Final Reset

The wise entered in. The foolish were left outside.

The world says “reset” to gain more control, but God’s reset is about final separation.

Revelation 3:7 – “What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.”

There will come a moment when the door of grace’s close. That’s why watchfulness is critical.

How to Be Ready for the Kingdom Reset

Keep Oil in Your Lamp – stay filled with the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is debauchery degeneracy, intemperance ; but be filled with the Spirit.

Stay Watchful – don’t slumber spiritually; stay alert in prayer

Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Live Prepared – readiness is not occasional, it’s daily

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Separate from the World’s Reset – don’t be distracted by man’s plans, focus on God’s.

Expect the Bridegroom – live in anticipation of His soon return

Titus 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

The true Great Reset isn’t about governments or global systems—it’s about the Bridegroom returning.

The cry is already going forth: “Get ready! The Bridegroom is coming!”

The question is not: Do you have a lamp?

The question is: Do you have oil?

It’s not about politics. It’s about your oil. Do you have what it takes to endure the midnight hour? Are you ready to meet the Bridegroom?”

Pray for a fresh outpouring of oil and fire.

“The world will reset economies, but Heaven is resetting eternity. Make sure your lamp has oil, because the Bridegroom is coming!”
