When God Speaks to the Dead

The Hand of the Lord Came Upon Me

Ezekiel 37:1-3

1 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit  of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

Ezekiel was in the Spirit, not in the flesh. His body didn’t move, but his spirit was carried.

This is the picture of stepping into Kairos. God lifted him beyond clock-time into eternity-time.

Kronos = measured, calendar time (what man sees).

Kairos = eternal, appointed time (what God decrees).

The devil attacks in Kronos (delay, waiting, hopelessness), but he cannot stop a Kairos word.

(Ezekiel 37:3) Can These Bones Live?

In my Kronos it looks too late, but in my Kairos it’s right on time!”

Bones may be dry, but breath is coming!

When God speaks, even dry bones start rattling!”

God asks Ezekiel a question not for information, but for activation.

In Kairos, the word is already settled. In Kronos, it looks impossible.

Faith and prophecy are the bridge: you pull Kairos into Kronos by declaring what God has spoken.

Your blessing, your destiny, your rhema word is alive in eternity—prophecy brings it into your now.

Logos and Rhema — The Two Streams of the Word

Logos: the whole counsel of God, written Word, eternal truth (John 1:1).

Rhema: a spoken, living word, released in the Spirit at the right time.

Rhema is an utterance in Kairos, but it manifests in Kronos.

Elisha and Naaman (2 Kings 5). A rhema word was released—go wash in the Jordan—and it pulled healing from eternity into Naaman’s now.

When God Speaks to the Dead

(Ezekiel 37:4-5) “Prophesy to these bones…”

The Spirit is the conduit of resurrection power.

The rhema word of God spoken in the Spirit realm can resurrect a dead promise, restore a broken destiny, revive a weary soul.

You may feel like your Kronos is too late—but in Kairos it is right on time.

The Enemy’s Tactic vs. God’s Timing

Enemy’s tactic in Kronos: delay, doubt, weariness, hopelessness.

God’s fulfillment in Kairos: suddenly, breakthrough, unstoppable purpose.

Worship and prophecy open the pipeline—Spirit-to-Spirit connection with eternity.

That’s why the church must be filled with the Holy Ghost: we become a living conduit for Kairos to invade Kronos.

Spirit-to-Spirit Connection

Elisha heard it—though no messenger told him. Prophets live connected Spirit-to-Spirit.

In worship, in prayer, in prophecy—we are not just singing or speaking, we are aligning earth with heaven.

When the Spirit flows, the windows of eternity open.

Stay connected. Stay filled. Stay prophesying.

The same Spirit that carried Ezekiel is here to carry you.

The same breath that entered dry bones is ready to breathe into your situation.

God is speaking your rhema word today—pull it from Kairos into Kronos by faith.

A prophetic declaration: “Lord, breathe on my dry bones. Connect me to eternity. Let your word in Kairos manifest in my Kronos!”
