Run with the Vision

Hebrews 12:1-2 (NKJV)

The Race of Faith

¹ Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, ² looking unto Jesus, the author and ^[finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Today I want to share what’s in my heart. This is what God has placed as his plan for my life, this church has had a destiny. I can’t do it on my own, but it’s a united effort.

Follow this vision with me.

I feel the Holy Ghost as he has spoken to my heart. Church, it’s our turn! The Lord has placed us and it’s our turn to run, I’m asking you to run with vision.

The Word of God (Proverbs 29:18 KJV) says, ^“Where there is no vision, the people perish: …”

I want to share my vision of this church’s direction in which we are to go.

1. I want it to be a Prophetic house that operates in all the gifts of the Spirit, a church who’s fruit shows! Where there are no blooms there will be no fruit. My grape vines this year are going to be full and beautiful. Why, last year I nearly cut the grape vine completely down. I cut out the dead vines that produce nothing.

2. My pear trees started maturing last year; I had 40 pears or so. This year, there are so many pears on those trees, I cannot count. I have had to wait while the tree matures.

There is a maturing process for this church. We are maturing!

I know that not everyone in a church matures at the same rate, and some never mature. But I see a vision in my mind’s eye. I see those who will Run with vision. Once the trigger is pulled the race is in our hands.

Our church is in the process of a name change. The name change is a directive reflective of our direction.
