The Return of Jesus Christ

  1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Therefore, comfort one another with these words.

The word “caught up” in Greek is “harpazo,” which refers to transporting a person from one location to another.

It also means to snatch out by force, snatching someone out of danger’s way.

We will be snatched from this world, taking us out of the danger of the great tribulations.

  2 Thessalonians 2:1

2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

  Mark 13:32

32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son nor the Father.

In Ezekiel 38, there is a prophecy of emirate states coming together with Israel before the rapture or the church and before Daniel 9:27, a peace accord made by the antichrist.

The church is in heaven with Jesus. When this accord is made, we will never know it was signed.

The emirate states have been around for a long time, but never have they welcomed Israel as a part of or had normal relationships with it.

  Aug. 14, 2020

The agreement, known as the Abraham Accord, was announced on Thursday after a phone conversation between US President Donald Trump, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The accord was welcomed by United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nikolay Mladenov, who said he hoped it would “create opportunities for Israeli and Palestinian re-engagement.”

Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for Mr. Guterres, noted that the deal “suspends Israeli annexation plans over parts of the occupied West Bank, something the secretary general has consistently called for.”

“Peace in the Middle East is more important than ever as the region confronts the grave threats of COVID-19 and radicalization,” he said.

The headline in Europe reads:

  Europe Hails the Peace Accord

Josep Borrell, the European Union’s top diplomat, said the UAE-Israel accord “benefits both and is important for regional stability.”

“Suspending annexation is a positive step; plans should now be abandoned altogether,” Mr. Borrell said on Twitter. “EU hopes for resumed Israeli-Palestinian negotiations on a two-state solution based on internationally agreed parameters.”

The UAE agreed to establish diplomatic relations with Israel in exchange for the suspension of Israel’s plan to annex a large area of Palestinian territory in the West Bank.

The accord also envisages travel between the two countries, trade, including technology and goods, and cooperation in areas such as food security, climate change, and energy, according to a statement released by the US.

“Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s courageous decision expresses a reality we desperately need. A successful decision is a give and take, and this is what has been achieved,” Dr. Gargash said.

Britain and France were among the first European nations to welcome the agreement.

“The UAE and Israel’s decision to normalize relations is hugely good news,” British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Twitter on Thursday.

“It was my profound hope that annexation did not go ahead in the West Bank, and today’s agreement to suspend those plans is a welcome step on the road to a more peaceful Middle East.”

UK Foreign Minister Dominic Raab said it was “time for direct talks between the Palestinians and Israel, the only route to lasting peace.”

France’s Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian called Israel’s decision to suspend its annexation plans under the deal a “positive step” that paved the way for a resumption of talks on establishing a separate Palestinian state.

The two-state solution is “the only option” to achieve peace in the region, Mr. Le Drian said.

President Emmanuel Macron hailed the UAE’s “courageous” decision to normalize ties with Israel.

The French leader also lauded the UAE for its desire “to contribute to the establishment of a just and lasting peace between the Israelis and Palestinians.”

In Germany, Foreign Affairs Minister Heiko Maas tweeted his support for the accord, saying he had spoken to his Israeli counterpart Gabi Ashkenazi.

“Normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE can be the starting point for positive developments in the region and give new impetus to the Middle East peace process,” he said.

And Spain’s Foreign Minister, Arancha Gonzalez Laya, said the accord provided a new opportunity to seek peace.

“What we think is important now is to use this context to give an impulse to the negotiations between Israel and Palestine,” she told Reuters.

Across the Atlantic, Mr. Trump’s presidential rival and former vice president, Joe Biden, praised the UAE for its “welcome, brave, and badly needed act of statesmanship.”

“It is a timely reminder that enmities and differences, even longstanding ones, are not set in stone and of the role American diplomacy can play,” Mr. Biden said.

The US Ambassador to the UAE, John Rakolta, at this particular time, said the country had taken “a bold step towards securing broader peace in the Middle East for generations to come” and noted that it was the first GCC state “to recognize the benefits that normalization will bring.”

  1 Thessalonians 5:3

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Pestilence

The Bible warns of terrible and frightening times in the End Times. Wars, fires, earthquakes, storms, tempests, floods, famines, plagues, and pestilence.

“But realize this: in the last days, difficult times will come.” 2 Timothy 3:1

“And in various places, there will be famines and earthquakes.” Matthew 24:7

“When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened.” Mark 13:7

In His sermon on the Mount of Olives, the Lord Jesus forewarned of pestilence when He described the End Times (Luke 21:11).

“And there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.” Luke 21:11

Jesus said the pestilence will be like “birth pains” (Matthew 24:8), meaning it will increase in frequency and intensity in the time leading up to His return.

This means that as the end approaches, we should expect infectious disease outbreaks to occur more frequently, impact more people, and be more deadly.

Then, throughout the seven-year Tribulation period, pestilence will continue, right up to the Fall of Babylon.

The Two Witnesses: “These have the power… to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.” Revelation 11:6; see article: 2 Witnesses, Revelation 11

From the gruesome flu pandemic that killed an estimated 50 million to 100 million people in 1918.

Annual epidemics are thought to result in between 3 million and 5 million cases of severe illness and between 250,000 and 500,000 deaths every year around the world, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The ever-changing virus has gone through several major mutations in the past century and has been able to repeatedly spread to humans via domestic animals.

Significant outbreaks caused by the virus include the Asian flu in 1957 and the Hong Kong flu in 1968, which each caused several million deaths worldwide, and the swine flu in 2009.

SARS

SARS, which stands for severe acute respiratory syndrome, is caused by the SARS coronavirus.

It first infected people in late 2002 in China, and within weeks, it spread to 37 countries through air travel.

The virus infected 8,000 people worldwide, about 800 of whom died.

Most patients infected by the SARS coronavirus develop pneumonia.

The virus spreads by close contact between individuals and is thought to be most readily transmitted by droplets produced when an infected person sneezes or coughs and the secretions are inhaled by another person.

The disease can also spread when a person touches a surface or object contaminated with infectious droplets. SARS may also be spread more broadly through the air.

HIV/AIDS

Since its emergence in the 1980s, HIV has infected 60 million people and caused an estimated 30 million deaths.

In the United States, about 50,000 people become infected with HIV each year. 1.1 million people were living with HIV. Of those people, an estimated 18 percent do not know they are infected, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis (TB) is second only to HIV/AIDS as the greatest killer worldwide due to a single infectious agent.

In the past two decades, 8.6 million people fell ill with TB, and 1.3 million died.

The birth pains are upon us.

From the Coronavirus of 2019 to June 2023, 1,134,641 people have died in the United States.

America, God hasn’t forgotten you; you have forgotten God.

World Health Organization officials said in patients who recovered from COVID-19, their immunity may wane after a few months.

The CDC says, “What we don’t know is how strong that protection is and for how long that protection will last,” said at a news conference at the organization’s Geneva headquarters.

The revelation of my heart says Jesus, Jesus is coming very soon, I feel the danger to us is imminent, my heart has cried many tears over the sick, all over this nation, story after story, my heart cry is Jesus rescue us.

Daniel 7 Beast and Revelations 13 Beast are becoming clearer by the day. The Islamic caliphate is taking over the Middle East almost entirely. Israel is a religious nation with “a lot of Muslims.” America worships sex, so it’s natural to see us with a desire to kill children.

  Revelation 17:10

There are also seven kings. Five have fallen; one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue for a short time.

The fallen who ruled Israel, Egypt, Neo-Assyria, Neo-Babylonia, Medo-Persia, Greece, and at the time of the writings of the book of Revelations, the Romans ruled. Now that we see the emergence of the Islamic caliphate, the Balfour Declaration sent Israel back to its homeland.

I have referred to the rapture as the great rescue because that’s what it is.

  1 Thessalonians 5:9

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

We are in the birth pains of the coming of the Lord; it is upon us, the rapture of the church.

Pastor, what about those who knew Jesus and have died?

  1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

    Revelation 11:6

These have the power to shut the sky so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
