Baptize us in fire again.
Mathew 3:
John the Baptist Prepares the Way
In those days, John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”
3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make His paths straight.’ ”
4 Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey.
Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers!
Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,
9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’
For I say to you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones.
And even now, the ax is laid at the root of the trees.
Therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry.
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
I feel the power of God that was upon John, and I’m envious of the mantel that’s on this man’s life; we were the ones to baptize Jesus.
I see John’s disciples baptizing, and John is preaching. John’s message is a message of repentance.
There is a cry that comes from John. I’ve been waiting on the Messiah, but I’m not tired yet.
The Prophet knew it was time; heaven was on a delivery schedule, and Jesus was on his way.
It was time for Jesus to step into his role in God’s plan for man.
Redemption was on God’s mind.
God sent his best; God sent the only one who could open the heavens.
I feel the prophets mantle of John, turning the hearts of God’s people back to God. Did he win all?
No! But he preached to them: if he didn’t save them, he damned them.
Once again, the mantle of John has been pulled down, the message of repentance is being preached, this house is a gatehouse, and the door of heaven is in this house.
Jesus is the door, my savior; my Jesus, the one who died for you, has sent me to get you.
Turn from your sin; don’t go to hell with the devil. Come out from among them.
While God is about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, give us power, God, to not turn back.
It’s a shame that the term “Pentecostal power” has, for many people, become more associated with speaking in tongues than with the harvest of world evangelization.
Pentecost is the fiftieth day from Passover, the feast of harvest.
People from all over the world, what a perfect time for God to pour out Pentecost.
When the church comes together, it is a great time for Pentecost—not just tongues of fire, “heaven’s language,” but hearts afire, “heaven on earth.”.
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.
See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7: A nation will rise against a nation, and a kingdom against a kingdom. And there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrow.
In a time of great deception, they are renaming Jesus, rebranding the savior of the world. Jesus is the word of God made flesh.
It’s not the word of God and the Catholic Bible; it’s not the word of God and the Muslim Bible; it’s not the word of God and the Jehovah Witness Bible.
Jesus is the word of God, none other; only one can save Jesus; only one can baptize you with the Holy Ghost; he has a fire for your head and a fire for your heart.
Baptize us in fire again.
