The sounding of the trumpet

The Watchman and His Message 33 :1

Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman,

3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people,

4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will [a]save his life.

6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’

7 “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.

8 When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

9 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have [b]delivered your soul.

I know the call of God on my life.

Years ago, I was told in a dream by Nehemiah that I was a watchman. For twenty-two years, I have been your watchman.

We have lived through some hard times; we have lived through some impossible times.

As I hear the voice of God, I have told you. I have not withheld anything from you.

Still, my mission, my greatest, my most important mission, is ahead of me.

A watchman who carries no horn isn’t much of a watchman, and neither is a prophet who will not intercede for those whom he prophesies over.

Genesis 28:  Jacob’s Dream

10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran.

11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.

12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.

14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

15 Behold, I am with you and will keep[c] you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”

16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

For twenty-two years, I have repeatedly laid my head on that altar, dreamed the dreams, and heard the voice of God.

I tell you tonight, this house is the gates of heaven. The base of the ladder sets in this house, and it reaches heaven. Momma told me a long time ago, Jesus was my ladder.

Angels are descending and ascending. What are they doing? They bring answers to prayers. They carry the prayers made in this house to the throne room.

Ministering angels, angels bearing gifts from our Father, angels with gifts of healing.

My prayer is that there will be oil from the Tree of Life. Adam and Eve couldn’t go back into Eden, but it didn’t mean they couldn’t go to the entrance of Eden and pray for the oil of mercy from the Tree of Life.

The angels guarding the gates. I see them going to the Tree because of intercession.

Jesus is the Tree. Jesus is the Ladder. My high priest can be recognized by the ladder on His back.

Through His stripes, He made a way. I will not be a hypocrite, a fraud, a phony, a pretender.

My Jesus is worthy of my love and my devotion.

In the month of September, every year is celebrated Elul. This year’s dates are September 2nd at sundown and go until the 4th at sundown.

Elul is the 12th and final month in the Jewish calendar. It is a month that connects the past year with the coming year—a time when we reflect on where we stand and where we should be going.

A time to get right with God.

Every day of Elul, we blow the shofar, give extra charity, and recite special Psalms in anticipation of the High Holidays, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur.

Rosh Hashanah, the day of judgment, begins October 2, 2024, at sundown and concludes at nightfall on October 4, 2024.

Rosh Hashanah is believed to be the birthday of the universe. Also the day God created Adam and Eve, and it’s celebrated as the Jewish New Year.

Rosh Hashanah is also called “the day of remembrance.”

Elul is the time to repent, and Rosh Hashanah is the day of judgment.

Anytime after Elul, from September 2nd at sundown until the 4th at sundown, judgment can come.

Elul 2011, 5771, began on Monday, August 29, 2011, and ended on Wednesday, August 31, 2011.

A nation as powerful as America, we are the greatest superpower in the world. We have more nuclear weapons than all the world combined times two.

With all of our precision, weaponry, and military might, we could not stop 9/11. Why?

We were weighed on the scales of God and we were found wanting, a nation who has forgotten God.

The trumpet was blowing, but no one heard it, and the day of judgment caught us unaware.

It caught the military off guard, caught the government off guard, and the watchmen were caught off guard.

On 9/11, sunrise started the day of judgment.

Giant eagles swooped down from the heavens, their talons outstretched. The giant eagles I mentioned were metal planes.

Follow the sunrise, and you can follow the judgment.

Can I read to you the path of the planes used on 9/11?

He that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.
