The season of Harvest
Tonight, we have come to this service to set apart some of our sheep.
They have exhibited character traits worthy of the master’s approval.
Bro Steve Brackin is a man of the Word. He is very strong in doctrine.
He will be a great Men’s leader. He’s ready to equip the men of this church.
Sister Rita Larue has been a more than admirable leader in any position she served in in the body of Christ. She exhibits my heart to the senior adults, and she will be a great leader to our seniors, moving us forward to spiritual renewal in our senior adults.
The youngest of the three, Sister Sherry Hyde, will become the new women’s Leader. She will do great. She has capable leaders who have her back, and the fire of God who is looking for a heart to burn in.
It is the season of the harvest. The Lord has called us to the harvest, and the fields are white and all ready to harvest.
John 4:35
Say not ye, ‘There are yet four months and then cometh the harvest’? Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white already to harvest.
Ephesians 3:9
9 and to make all see what is the [b]fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things [c]through Jesus Christ.
The season of the Harvest has to have those who see. The Apostle Paul said there is an anointing to make men see.
Tonight, these three see, but we are going one step further. There are men and women with titles who see, but do nothing.
James 1:22-25
New King James Version
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror.
24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
The fields are white and ready to Harvest. Your commission tonight comes with authority, and with the Authority it comes with Power. The Anointing will destroy the yokes of the flesh.
Galatians 6:7-9
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Verse 7 is speaking very loud. God has set the seed to reproduce and when it does there has to be those who will reap.
Your commission isn’t to carry a title but rather to be a harvester.
Galatians 6:7
7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
As long as you see them as sinners you can’t see them as Harvest. But when you view them as Harvest, a grace to win them is within reach.
What has God been talking to you about?
You are here because of impartation. You have heard. Now the commission is upon you to do.
In a moment we are going to pray for you. When we pray there is going to be activation of the anointing on your life.
It’s the season of Harvest. You are commissioned to raise those who will help you bring this great Harvest in.
This church has not planted the carnal or fleshly. It has planted the seeds of the righteous.
From this day, your commission is to be a reaper.
Reap where you have not planted. I send you to the fields to reap. Go get my sons and daughters.
Malachi 4: 5-6
“Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD.
6He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance], so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse [of complete destruction].”
Today the Spirit of Elijah is looking for a new host. God raised up Noah, a mighty man of God who walked with God.
He raised up Elijah and called the children of God back from destruction.
He raised up John the Baptist, a mighty baptizer, who Baptized Jesus.
Today the Spirit of Elijah is looking for a new host. Will you burn for Jesus? If your heart burns, you will draw men to Jesus.
Today I pray a portion of the Anointing that is upon me will come upon you. And you will do greater works for Jesus than Me.
Numbers 11:25 Nkjv
Then the LORD came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again.
Will you burn for Jesus? I want to burn for you, Jesus!
You are an answer to my prayers. You are an answer to the prayers of this church. You are an answer to prayer.
