28 “And it shall come to pass afterwardthat I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy;Your old men shall dream dreams;Your young men shall see visions.29 And also on my menservants and on my maidservants,I will pour out my spirit in those days.
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy;Your young men shall see visions;your old men shall dream dreams.18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants,I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy.
Hundreds Turn to Jesus at #2 US Party School, Get Baptized in Fountain, The New York Times reporter Jennie Allen is reporting once again that the Spirit of God is moving in the hearts of thousands of college students, this time at Florida State University in Tallahassee.
In a post to Instagram and Facebook on Friday, she shared a photo of a student who had just been baptized in the university’s Westcott Fountain on Thursday night.
“It’s happening again! FSU Baptisms! Hundreds, maybe a thousand, of students came forward to trust Jesus. We can’t explain what’s happening apart from the Spirit,” she wrote.
Florida State University (one of the biggest party schools in the nation) students confessed struggles and sins tonight. Hundreds came forward to trust Christ. And this is them singing and dancing as they head to spontaneous baptisms,” she wrote in text over the video of the students.
Along with the video clip, she explained, “God keeps doing it!! They confessed their sin. They came forward in droves tonight to trust Jesus. We baptized hundreds in a fountain usually used for partying and worse. And it’s all just the beginning. It is literally everywhere I go right now. The revival is here. And there is no explaining it—when it’s God! FSU baptisms.”
One user responded, “My daughter is there! She says it’s been incredible. They are hungry. And not in just a swept-up-in-the-moment way.”
Another user wrote, “My daughter was one of the students who was baptized in the fountain that night after the conference! Praise God!!!”
Pastor Robby Gallaty in Hendersonville, Tennessee, grew restless from the pressures of ministry in 2020, and he dedicated time on his porch to silent prayer for almost a year. Then he sensed God leading him to call for a spontaneous baptism at his church. That was a highly unusual concept for the way he normally does ministry, but he sensed it was God. So he did it.
Over the next year, revival swept the church, with more than 1,500 people expressing their faith through public baptism.
And on May 28, 2023, on what is known as “Pentecost Sunday,” Pastor Mark Francey felt led to hold a public baptism at Pirates Cove, California, one of the sites of the Jesus Movement. He invited other churches to participate, and 280 churches from across Southern California came together.
In total, 4,166 people were baptized at one time. This was the largest baptism in California history, and some people are calling it the largest baptism in American history.
I feel the revival rain; can you say it with me, Rain down on us”?
This past two weeks, I have been feeling drops of rain. When there were no clouds in the sky, I was walking out of church Sunday morning, and it happened.
I was walking to church Sunday night, going to the prayer room, and it happened again. Monday morning I was walking to my truck to go to work, and it happened again.
At 7:30 that evening, my sister Scarlett and I were walking to my shop, and it happened again. I asked Scarlett, did you feel that?
I’m not on drugs, I’m not having a mental breakdown, and I believe the tears on my alter are beginning to return to me, manifesting themselves as rain. It’s a sprinkle or just drops, but it’s enough to make me prepare for revival.
“My tears are returning to me in the form of rain from heaven!”!!
My tears are from one person; what happens when another joins me, and another and another? What happens when the whole church comes and pours out their tears—a heart cry for cleaning, a heart cry for restoration, a heart cry for the fire of God to fill our hearts?
“Wreck me, God,” “is my heart’s prayer.”
Wreck my church; wreck my family.
So will you be a part of God’s sending restoration to his church, sincere prayer, repentance of sin, and turning to God’s word?
This nation is going to be judged by God; it is exceedingly sinful; we have not repented; we have killed 60 million children by abortion. We have given celebrity status to perversion, and as Mordecai said to Esther, don’t think you’re safe; they will come for you.
A Call to Repentance
12 That is why the LORD says,
“Turn to me now, while there is time.
Give me your hearts.
Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
13 Don’t tear your clothing in your grief,
but tear your hearts instead.”
Return to the LORD, your God,
for he is merciful and compassionate.
slow to get angry, and filled with unfailing love.
He is eager to relent, not punish.
14: Who knows? Perhaps he will give you a reprieve.
sending you a blessing instead of this curse.
Perhaps you will be able to offer grain and wine.
to the LORD, your God, as before.
Verse 14 says, Who knows? Perhaps it’s a small window of time. This nation is either going to have revival or ruin. Judgment is standing over us, and only God can stop it.
Let’s prepare for the revival of the church.
