The last flag bearer

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 KJV

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

They led the way

Couldn’t hear a bugle or voice command  so the commander

Led the troops by watching the flag bearer. you watched the flag

There were 2 flags

A national flag

A regiment flag

A lot of our training is in prayer.

If you don’t train hard you don’t fight hard.

Praise

Praise gets the attention of God.

Acts 16:23-26 KJV

And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

Acts 16:27-28 KJV

And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here

2 Samuel 12:20 ESV

Then David arose from the earth and washed and anointed himself and changed his clothes. And he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped.

He then went to his own house. And when he asked, they set food before him, and he ate.

An excerpt from Harper weekly 1861 ALEXANDER, the color-bearer of the 10th New York Regiment, deserves to be placed high upon the roll of our heroes. He received three terrible wounds in a recent engagement, but clung to his colors with tenacious grasp.

While being taken into the hospital he became insensible, and an attempt was made to take the flag away, but his unconscious hand held it more powerfully; even then his ruling passion was strong. Such men in life and death are glorious examples

G.K. Chesterton said, “The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.

Jesus was sent toBind up the broken hearted

Mark 7:32-33 ESV — And they brought to him a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment, and they begged him to lay his hand on him. And taking him aside from the crowd privately, he put his fingers into his ears, and after spitting touched his tongue.

Acts 20:10 KJV

Eutychus fell asleep out of the loft and died.— And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

Can we change the mind of God?

A stronghold is a fort.

VIDEO

Sometimes the stronghold must come down brick by brick.

PRAYING GOD’S WORD BACK TO HIM..

Psalm 34:7 KJV — The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Will you cling to this blood stained banner until the end???

The world is coming after this flag!
